Our ambition is to change the future for young participants within one year.
The Bafut Vocational Training project provides young people with practical skills to earn an income in today’s economy and tomorrow’s green jobs.
For a period of 12 months, we train different groups in the following vocations:
- Tailoring and Fashion Designing: Participants learn pattern making, cutting, sewing, sketching, and branding
- Waste Transformation to Gas: Participants learn to turn organic waste into biogas for cooking and generating electricity
- Installation of Solar Panels and Camera Systems: Participants learn to set up solar panels, wiring, batteries, as well as CCTV/security camera systems
- From Used Tyres to Finished Products: Participants learn to upcycle old tyres into furniture, pots, playground equipment, and decorative pieces.
