History

Youth and the Future was founded amidst the ongoing Anglophone crisis in Cameroon to empower young and marginalised communities through skill training, income-generating activities, and community building initiatives.

Youth and the Future launched various empowerment programs to provide training and mentorship for young people, rebuild war-torn communities, enhance infrastructures, and promote more sustainable living practices.

After two years in operation, Youth and the Future has reached nearly 1,000 young people. The indirect beneficiaries are tenfold, which includes family members, communities, and networks influenced by the empowered youths.

In this third year of operation, Youth and the Future focuses on creating higher-paying jobs, helping young people learn vocational and entrepreneurial skills, and building better, more sustainable infrastructure in vulnerable communities.
